Come out this Thursday and hear Professor Stefan Rodde give his presentation on the ethics of Stoicism! It will be followed by a discussion period where we will explore ideas on how we can attain a virtuous life and maintain calm in the face of adversity. There are also interesting parallels between Stoicism, Buddhism and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) a prominent form of psychotherapy.
